A legacy of collaboration

So.Utah builds on over two decades of work by the Washington County Economic Development Corporation.

In 2024, the organization expanded its mission to serve the entire five-county region. With that expansion came a new identity - the Southern Utah Economic Alliance - and a renewed focus on unified regional growth.

Our legacy includes hosting the What’s Up Down South Economic Summit for over 27 years, a cornerstone event for innovation, investment, and connection.
